The Cedar Valley Bicycle Collective (CVBC) is a non-profit organization founded on building community through bicycling. We welcome any mechanics who like to wrench on bikes or anyone who wants to learn more about them. The CVBC was founded in 2012.
The goals of the Cedar Valley Bicycle Collective are as follows:
- Provide the community with educational opportunities regarding bicycle safety, bicycle repair, and bicycle riding.
- Promote environmental sustainability through the three Rs:
- Reducing our dependence on cars
- Re-using bicycles and parts
- Recycling damaged bicycles and parts
- Promote healthy living and wellness and strengthen families through bicycling.
